BTO Club 30th Anniversary Celebration
Steamin’ to
Strasburg - May 25-28, 2008
Join us in Strasburg, Pennsylvania in May to help us celebrate the BTO Club’s 30th year of Havin’ Fun Runnin’ Trains. It’s been 30 years since Al Lentz wondered if there was anyone else interested in those big trains from Germany. He soon discovered that there were quite a few people who shared a passion for large-scale trains.
A lot has changed since 1977. The world of G-scale has flourished. Manufacturers have come and gone. But the Big Train Operator Club has been there from the beginning - first known as the LGBMRRC and more recently as the BTO Club. Our quarterly publication, Big Train Operator magazine, set the standard for G-scale publications.
May 25th through 28th will be our Club’s 30th Anniversary Celebration. We’re heading back to where it all started, Strasburg Penn. for 4 days of fun, friendship, food, some surprises and a big outdoor space to run our trains.
Our center of operations, the Bird-in-Hand Family Inn is located on 13 acres of activities and amenities, 125 rooms, PA Dutch restaurant, recreation area including
indoor-outdoor pools, spa, tennis, mini golf, walking trail, complimentary bus tours and family suites.

your reservations early to get the Club rate.
