Invitation for New Members
Whether you are an Big Train collector, dealer, modeler, fan or just a Big Train lover, you are invited to join the Big Train Operator Club. Inc. The club is a group of enthusiasts, hobbyists, and collectors who devote much of their time and energy to Large-Scale trains. The club was founded in 1978 and now has members throughout the United States and in several countries.
You will receive the following:
Membership card and certificate.
Each new member receives a Certificate of Membership, suitable for
framing, and an official membership card.
The Big Train Operator Magazine.
Published quarterly, the Big Train Operator keeps members informed of
new products, local club news, and articles of interest to large-scale
railroaders... plus additional information regarding the club and it's
activities.
Beautiful Annual Calendar.
A full-color calendar that features members large-scale trains and
layouts.
Limited Edition Car
Periodically the Club offers a limited edition car available to members
only. Only the number of cars ordered are produced - therefore creating
both a distinctive membership bonus and a highly collectable car was well.
Annual Get-together
Once a year, club members gather for an annual family oriented and fun meet which provides an opportunity to operate trains, buy and sell trains and accessories, and meet other club members. The
meeting site is held in a different location each year, affording an opportunity for all members to attend the convention at some time or other.
Annual dues are $35 per year.
For non-US residents, $45 per year in US funds.
